Welcome to Study Streak - Study Planner ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our data practices when you use our Android mobile application (the "App").

We built Study Streak as a privacy-first, fully client-side application. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on our servers.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Because the App operates entirely on your device, we do not require you to create an account, nor do we collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. We do not have access to your study plans, schedules, or timer history.

3. Local Data Storage

All data you generate while using the App is stored securely and strictly locally on your device. This includes:

  • Your created timetables and study schedules.

  • Your Pomodoro timer settings and session histories.

  • Any notes or task inputs.

This data remains on your device and is never transmitted to us or any external servers.

4. Third-Party Services and Analytics

The App does not use any third-party analytics, crash reporting tools, or advertising networks. It does not connect to the internet to share data with any third parties.AdMob

5. Device Permissions

To function correctly, the App relies on standard Android device permissions:

  • Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Required to alert you locally on your device when a Pomodoro session ends or a scheduled study block begins.

  • Alarms & Reminders: Required for precise timekeeping and scheduling background alarms for your timetable.

None of the data processed by these permissions is sent off your device.

6. Data Deletion

Because all data is stored locally on your device and we do not maintain user accounts, you have complete and immediate control over your data.

How to delete your data: You can permanently delete all your Study Streak data at any time by:

  1. Clearing the App's data and cache in your Android device settings.

  2. Uninstalling the App from your device.

Once you uninstall the App or clear its data, your study history and timetables are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered by us.

7. Children's Privacy

Our App does not transmit or collect any personally identifiable information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. All usage data remains on the local device.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date."
